I just saw the Edgecliffe Terrace Homes at the agent’s open house today and I was really impressed! This modernist residence was built in 1968 and used as a plant for Saturn Lighting, a fabricator of mid-century-modern light fixtures, before it was remodel by Silver Lake architect Tony Unruh, A.I.A. The sleek industrial exterior is covered in corrugated steel and spans its own city block. The 1,866 square foot residence features an open and spacious floor plan with a flexible live-work design. The home is currently used as a musician’s recording studio, but would also be ideal for offices or other creative work spaces.

Originally built in 1922, it’s located on a 10,000 square foot, county-certified farm and Certified Wildlife Habitat and includes updated “green” features, like a tankless water heater and appliances that conserve energy while reducing utilities.
