Honestly, just seeing this sign warms my heart. I’ve played at a number of Los Angeles area golf courses, but the Los Feliz Par 3 Course is by far my favorite for reasons that don’t make a lot of sense. The greens are in bad shape, balls are flying everywhere, there’s often a long wait … Continued

Built in Atwater Village in 1928, this home is one of of a handful of “fantasy bungalows” built along Brunswick in the 1920s. The homes have exotic designs with brightly colored turrets, cupolas and arched entryways–influenced by Hollywood’s silent film sets of the time. Early developers often built these fantasy bungalows in rows of lots, like 3636 Brunswick, which is one of three similar homes. According to the Los Angeles Conservancy, this home is part of “the most architecturally distinct parts of Atwater, and Los Angeles, overall.”
