Off The Wall

Recently on houzz they featured a nice sampling of privacy fences and outdoor walls. These are commonly used here in Los Angeles where space between homes is sometimes space is at a premium. And there are many different things you can do with these outdoor walls, like vertical gardens, sculptures, or even a climbing wall… Let’s take a peak a sampling!

Working the geometric pattern into this outdoor space adds something unexpected. From Shades Of Green Landscape Architecture in Sausalito, CA.

If you’re going to build a privacy wall, why not incorporate a climbing wall for your kids? I bet they could argue that this makes total sense. Created by Shades Of Green Landscape Architecture in Sausalito, CA.

I really like the unique look of this gabion wall (essentially a wire structure filled with rocks) done by Urban Earth Design in Phoenix.

Copper basket weave incorporates birch trees and horizontal wood boards. Designed by Randy Thueme Design Inc. in San Francisco.

I see a lot of chalkboard walls in the kitchen, so why not outside? Also by Shades Of Green Landscape Architecture Sausalito, CA.
