Private, secluded, up in the hills, stunning views…these are requests Realtors hear all the time and this house claims to be all those things. While I haven’t seen this in person yet, based on the photos it looks like this property might actually deliver on that promise. It certainly has the location going for it – this house is in my favorite pocket of Elysian Heights, an area with outstanding views and seclusion. It definitely looks to be move-in ready and in very good condition. The kitchen and floors are totally upgraded and the backyard even has a built-in waterfall.
At 1,296 square feet this house is a little smaller than some of the other houses nearby in this price range, but a 7,335 square foot lot might make up for that. I’m looking forward to seeing this house in person. No open house information right now, but if you’d like to schedule a private showing with me just send me an email!

I like this house because it would fill a longtime fantasy of mine – living in a park! Because that’s basically what you’re getting here. Located up in the Echo Park hills of Elysian Heights right next to Elysian Park, this rare offering functions as a private tranquil retreat. Four bedrooms is a lot of bedrooms for this price. The previous owner used the extra space for an artist’s studio, office and guest room – each with access to a rose garden and terraced yard of fruit tress. Sounds pretty nice!
The house was clearly designed to take advantage of the amazing views. Check out the wall of windows that aligns the dining room:

After dinner you’ll probably end up here digesting your food and admiring the view:

More pics after the jump.
