3608 Crownridge Drive In Sherman Oaks

5 BR, 5.5 BA

I’m thrilled to present my new listing on Take Sunset! Built in 1960 by Bernard Zimmerman, FAIA, the Altschuler/Greenberg House is sited on a picturesque hilltop in a highly desirable Sherman Oaks location with sweeping hilltop and mountain views.

Zimmerman’s classic mid-century “white box” design features spectacular floor to ceiling walls of glass and a floating terrazzo bridge entry.

Later award-winning additions by Lawrence A. Robbins, AIA, seamlessly added approximately 2,000 square feet of interior space–making it approximately 6,400 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, den, family room, sauna, bar, patios, pool and tennis court.

The step-down living room and dining room have beautiful tile floors, built-ins and views of the pool and mountains beyond.

The modern kitchen features a large center island, eat-in dining area and incredible views.

Great details such as the circular skylight on the second level landing make this home a true work of art.

The master bedroom is perfectly sited to capture the spectacular views.

The residence is extremely private and walled at the street level. It’s sited on a sprawling lot of just over 3/4 acre.

This is a very special property and a great opportunity for buyers looking to create their own modernist residence. If you’d like to see Zimmerman’s Altschuler/Greenberg House in person, email me or call me at 323-775-6305!

Co-listed with John Davidson, Keller Williams Realty-Larchmont.

I know this is more than a year old, but this property is breathtaking. It has probably been sold by now, but I couldn’t help but compliment the home design.
