2010 was a great year for real estate in Los Angeles. So many great homes hit the market and I got a chance to see some amazing properties. Below are my favorite listings from this year in no particular order….except for one.

757 Kingman Avenue in Santa Monica. Loved this beautiful art deco mid-century.

2607 Glendower Ave in Los Feliz (Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis house). It was an honor to tour the inside of this LA landmark.

9274 Swallow Drive in the Hollywood Hills. A nearly perfect mid-century modern in the Bird streets.

3135 Isabel Drive in Glassell Park. My favorite of BetterShelter’s flips this year.

1515 North Tigertail Road in Brentwood. Loved this Craig Ellwood beauty.

1366 Wildwood Dr in Eagle Rock. The treacherous drive is worth it to get to this very cool house.

The Volcano House in Newberry Springs. Never got to see this in person but I love it based on the photos alone!

2310 Lake Shore Ave in Echo Park. The perfect Echo Park hideaway.

2413 Panorama Terrace in Silver Lake. My favorite listing in the Silver Lake hills from 2010.

1829 North Avenue 51 in Highland Park. My favorite of ModOp’s flips from this year.
And my favorite listing of 2010 by far….

2651 Nottingham Place (The Wong House) in Los Feliz. Just perfect in every way. My dream house!

Thanks Rob! I appreciate! Hear is to a great 2011!!
3705 Alzada Rd Altadena….my absaloute fav…love it for its simplicity and the way it graces its setting. I also really admire the warmth of the interior, which is detailed and yet so simple. Could easily ‘live’ in this house…and to me, that’s what good design is all about…livability.
Great architecture for its time as well as today.
