What They Sold For

The House: 2346 Lyric
What I Said About It: “While it doesn’t look like a typical fixer, this is enough of a blank slate for someone to make this a really special house. Let the mad rush begin!”

Listing Date: 9/15/2010
Original Listing Price: $599,900
Sold For: $689,000 in 9 days
Verdict: Honestly I thought this house would go for more. It’s a true mid-century in great condition with amazing views. No yard though. Still, nearly $100k over asking gives you an idea of how banks under value certain properties in the area.

The House: 2301 El Contento
What I Said About It: “This is a truly one of a kind mid-century Hollywood Hills home.”

Listing Date: 8/10/2010
Original Listing Price: $899,000
Sold For: $951,900 in 6 days
Verdict: Another fantastic and unique house that flew off the shelves. This one had an offer in just a day or two – they actually canceled the first open house. I’m not surprised, look at it!

The House: 2600 Outpost Dr
What I Said About It: “This is a rare offering at a great price in the exclusive Outpost Estates section of the Hollywood Hills.”

Listing Date: 6/30/2010
Original Listing Price: $899,000
Sold For: $1,060,000 in 6 days
Verdict: Whoa! I knew this house would go over asking but didn’t expect it to go that much over. Outpost Drive isn’t the first choice for many of streets to be on in Outpost, but this house had a nice long driveway giving it a secluded feel.
