In April of 2010, we went on the LA Conservancy’s “Home Sixties Home” architectural tour, and the Franks House was our favorite stop on the tour. Designed by architect Raul Garduno in 1966, the home is located in the hills of Brentwood and truly stands out among the other multimillion dollar homes in the neighborhood.
This 2,506 square foot home features a loft-style arrangement with incredible views, multiple decks, a koi pond, and gorgeous walls of glass. But our favorite feature was the floating staircase! This residence feels like a work of art, but still maintains a warm and homey vibe.
At every turn there are huge windows showcasing the incredible views…
Homes like this are why I love working in real estate in Los Angeles! If you’d like to set up a showing to see this important piece of Southern California mid-century modern architecture, email me or call me at 323-775-6305!
