There are a lot of houses like this one up in the Hollywood Hills: sleek and modern with amazing views and a nice pool. The photos like the one above make it seem like the perfect place to live out your Hollywood fantasy. But the question I often ask myself when looking at these houses is: “is it really livable?”
Take the living room, for example (and do your best to ignore the hideous art work on the walls):

Great for entertaining? Sure. But not sure it’s an ideal space for a family. Then you have the kitchen – kinda small and cramped looking:

But of course, in a house like this, you can always send your guests outside to the deck where’s the plenty of room (and an amazing view, of course):

The house is located on a secluded cul-de-sac above Beachwood Canyon. For more information and photos, click here.

This is too modern & sterile looking for my taste, but still interesting… And I don’t think the paintings are hideous–I just don’t think they go with the style of the house.
