Here’s a house that, to me, defines what living in Silver Lake is all about: take a house from the 1960s, update it with a modern look while maintaining it’s retro charm and emphasize the lush outdoor surroundings and amazing views. From the photo above you can see that the living room/dining room is a great example of that. The windows are huge and they give you views all the way from Griffith Park to the Pacific Ocean. The open floor plan makes this a great house not only to entertain but also to raise a family.
Sometimes I feel like I post too many photos of the yards of the houses I post, but in this case, the following two photos are essential to understanding the appeal of this property.
The lush, tropical surroundings are almost too much for me! I’d spend nearly all my time out here. It’s like you’re constantly on a camping trip:
The house has a very private feel and with over 2200 square feet, it’s a pretty good size for the price. Other pluses are the location (right in the heart of Silver Lake) and the 3 bedrooms.
